About The Role
Gleeds is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Glasgow office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of project management and programme management services across various sectors, including Industrial, Commercial, Education, and Residential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives and positively engaging with customers to develop, grow, and maintain customer relationships.
- Deliver high-quality services and deliverables, ensuring that services meet our customers' requirements.
- Manage projects and/or programmes to deliver high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with business procedures.
- Administer contracts as a contract administrator, employer's agent, or project manager.
- Produce and present to customers, mentoring and coaching employees to realise their full potential.
- Prepare bids for services and manage service delivery for profit.
- Advise directors promptly of any issues that have arisen or may arise on projects, particularly those impacting Gleeds' professional indemnity (PI) insurance.
About You
We are looking for an experienced project management professional with sound project management and/or programme management experience post-qualification. You should have a clear understanding of legislation impacting building contracts, excellent communication skills, and a methodical approach to work.
Requirements
- MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), MAPM (Member of the Association of Project Managers), or MCIOB (Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders) qualification.
- Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work as part of a team and manage teams.
