We are seeking an experienced and skilled occupational therapist to join our team at Westbourne School in the East Midlands.

As a registered practitioner, you will be responsible for implementing a holistic approach to helping our pupils in their daily lives, working under the supervision of a senior occupational therapist during a preceptorship year.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy, be registered with the HCPC and RCOT, and possess strong clinical problem-solving abilities.

You will assess and treat individuals within the service, delivering meaningful activities in individual and group environments, and provide information and training to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as required.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary therapy team, including Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and therapy assistants, to create an environment where our pupils can flourish, learn, and develop.

To be successful in this position, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and possess good organisational skills.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £29,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
