Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Specialist to join our team at Stericycle. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement and transportation of clinical and industrial waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the safe and efficient transportation of waste, adhering to all relevant regulations and company procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Work closely with the Transportation team to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Comply with all statutory requirements related to road traffic, driver's hours, and digital tachograph records.
  • Complete specific documentation required by legislation and corporate procedures.
  • Act as a customer contact at delivery points, providing a professional and courteous service.
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required, and undertake ad-hoc duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous driving experience, preferably with an LGV Class 2 Licence and Driver CPC.
  • Relevant certifications and/or licenses, including ADR Training.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends.
