We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Science Technician to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the Science Department in maintaining a safe and efficient laboratory environment.

• Prepare and maintain science equipment, materials, and resources for lessons and activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Dispose of waste materials and chemicals in accordance with CLEAPSS guidelines.
• Assist with the maintenance of science laboratories and preparation rooms, including cleaning and tidying.
• Stock take and order science chemicals and equipment as needed.
• Provide technical support to staff and students, including setting up equipment and troubleshooting issues.
• Invigilate examinations as required.

• Previous experience as a School Science Technician is essential.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• IT literacy and proficiency in using laboratory equipment.
