Cleanliness Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleanliness Coordinator to join our team at Wellesley Hospital in Wellington, Somerset. As a Cleanliness Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities will include cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitor areas, working closely with the maintenance team to ensure all areas are spotless. You will also be responsible for delivering high-standard cleaning services, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.

You will receive comprehensive training to get you started and work collaboratively with our dedicated team to make a positive difference in the lives of our patients. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the hospital
• An active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation
• Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greet visitors in a professional manner
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all staff, visitors, and service users
• Helping create a positive culture
• Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post
• Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare

Requirements:

• Prior experience of cleaning within a similar environment
• A strong desire for cleaning and achieving high standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to prioritize duties and responsibilities effectively
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently
