Job Overview:
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is a key role at Belcan Corporation in London, ON. This 6-month renewable contract position involves maintenance and installation of various aircraft structures.
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing complex structure and aircraft installations, repairs, rework, and tests.
The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing complex structure and aircraft installations, repairs, rework, and tests.
- Completing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, testing, inspections, installations, modifications and component changes of aircraft structures, components, and test equipment.
- Inspecting, testing and evaluating structural damage.
- Completing required paperwork, certifications and releases for work completed to meet airworthiness standards.
- Troubleshooting mechanical and structural problems.
- Complying with all safety regulations.
- Ensuring aircraft is ready for authorization or certification for maintenance release following any maintenance or repairs to the applicable airworthiness standard.
- Ensuring all parts and assembly meet requirements in accordance with approved data.
- Reporting unserviceable parts to the Person Responsible for Maintenance.
- Investigating aircraft system deficiencies and faults; find or discuss possible rectifications with applicable manuals and documents e.g., service bulletins and drawings.
- Managing all parts and disposition of parts in assigned workstation by using proper documentation.
- Instructing and assisting other team members in interpretation of blueprints, drawings, and engineering orders.
- Training other team members in methods and procedures.
