Science Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Science Technician to join our team at a large secondary school in Salford. As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the science department and ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratories.

• Prepare and maintain science equipment and resources for teaching and learning.
• Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of science equipment and laboratories.
• Support the science department with administrative tasks and data management.
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure the effective delivery of science education.

• Degree educated with a good classification.
• Previous experience working with young people.
• Experience of teaching in a secondary school.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year.
• Up-to-date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years.
• Up-to-date behaviour management and FGM training.

• A competitive rate of pay from £110 per day.
• A full-time contract with a minimum of 8:30am - 4pm hours.
