The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at LGH Hotels Management. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our hotel is clean, comfortable, and inviting for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough cleaning and maintenance of all guest areas, including guest rooms, public areas, linen rooms, and cupboards.
  • Ensure that all areas are cleaned to a high standard within allocated time frames.
  • Report any damages or breakages promptly to ensure repairs are carried out.
  • Return all equipment to their allotted storerooms at the end of each working day and maintain a clean and tidy working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of the importance of attention to detail in housekeeping.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service and taking pride in delivering clean and well-maintained guest rooms and public areas.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical fitness and ability to carry out the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with other departments.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
