About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the receipt and preparation of mail for aircraft departure. This requires excellent communication, numerical, and writing skills to effectively communicate with the police or other government agencies.
Maintaining concentration while completing repetitive tasks is essential. You should have excellent observation skills to interrogate mail by profiling and x-ray screening. You will decipher and evaluate computer screen images to identify prohibited and threatening items, including explosives, incendiary, and other devices.
Calibrating screening machines to DfT standards is a critical aspect of this role. You must successfully pass a DfT-approved Level E course and an Ishihara colour blindness test.
Working Conditions
This is a part-time role, working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 23:00 and 03:00. You will be required to work in a high-security environment.

Please note that this role requires you to undergo a screening process, which includes a requirement for RMG to obtain 5 years' referencing. You will be required to submit details of your activities over the past 5 years, including any gaps in employment.
