Key Responsibilities
  • Origination and Structuring
    • Take ownership of the origination, structuring and deal execution across Bridging Finance.
    • Proactively seek new business opportunities focused on Bridging Finance.
  • Team Management
    • Responsible for building out and managing the bridging team in alignment with the company's growth plans.
  • Due Diligence
    • Conduct full due diligence on proposals, including financial review of the credit worthiness of applicants.
    • Knowledge of construction types and investment strategies.
    • Knowledge of bridging appraisals and cashflows.
    • Knowledge of preparing lending Heads of Terms.
    • Knowledge of reviewing and creating appropriate financial models.
  • Presentation and Reporting
    • Presentation to key stakeholders.
    • Reviewing reports of professional advisers.
    • Good working knowledge of facility letters and other finance documents.
  • CRM and Pipeline Management
    • Ensuring that the pipeline business is reviewed and CRM systems updated.

Requirements

  • Established track record in originating Bridging Finance opportunities.
  • Flexibility with regards to working patterns.
  • IT literacy – familiarity with MS Office and CRM systems.
  • A high level of commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excel and modelling skills and ability to interrogate existing client models.
  • Knowledge of real estate debt legal documents and legal process.
