About the Role:

Influencing is seeking a highly skilled Regional Content Creator to join its team in regional NSW. This digital reporter position will be responsible for writing accurate and original articles relevant to local communities, helping to attract subscribers through additional content such as infographics and videos.

The ideal candidate will have a detailed background in multimedia and journalism, particularly in high-activity newsrooms. Competency in SEO, social media engagement, and CMS operations is also essential. An extensive list of contacts in the subject communities may be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and write engaging articles for regional publications.
  • Create high-quality visual content to support articles, including infographics and videos.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community contacts to ensure accurate and original reporting.
  • Monitor and engage with social media to promote articles and attract subscribers.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Remote working arrangement covering Tamworth, Armidale, and Bathurst regions.
