Job Title: Night Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients in the London and South East region of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, Planned Preventative Service, Reactive Repair, and Technical Support of automated laboratory equipment
  • Managing vehicle stock inventory efficiently and within guidelines
  • Ensuring activities are completed on time and to the highest levels of accuracy with supporting documentation completed and submitted in accordance with the engineering and service department requirements
  • Attending training courses to gain or maintain knowledge levels and ensure customers and stakeholders consistently receive the highest levels of service and support
  • Assisting with project work when required to ensure deadlines are achieved and providing customer on-call support as part of the Service Team rota
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Qualification to at least ONC level or above in a relevant Electrical / Electronic Engineering discipline
  • 3 or more years' experience gained in a comparable service or maintenance environment (with laboratory or medical equipment experience proving distinctly advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills at all levels
