About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Discovery, supporting a gentleman who lives in his own home in Crewkerne.

Terry, our client, enjoys getting out and about, and we are looking for someone who shares his love of adventure and the outdoors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Terry with his daily needs, including personal care, medication, cooking, cleaning, and food shopping.
  • Encourage and promote Terry's independence, while ensuring his safety and comfort.
  • Accompany Terry on trips to the seaside, local parks, and cafes, enjoying activities such as walking, music, and hot chocolate.
  • Assist with household tasks, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Develop a positive and supportive relationship with Terry, respecting his interests and preferences.

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.61.
  • Full-time or part-time contracts available.
