E3 Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Manager to lead our client's Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Department. As a key member of the site leadership team, you will be responsible for driving strategic goals and objectives across two manufacturing sites.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Identify and drive strategic goals and objectives across two manufacturing sites, developing a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Department Management: Directly manage four senior stakeholders within the business, overseeing a team of 35 across the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality function.
- Regulatory Compliance: Build relationships with external regulators, including the Environmental Agency and Health & Safety Executive, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Team Development: Coach and develop the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Department and broader site team on relevant vision and goals.
- Best Practice Performance: Lead the development and implementation of a plan to achieve Best Practice performance aligned with business and site Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality targets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Align strategic objectives with the business's vision, engaging international stakeholders and driving collaboration across the organization.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 10 years' experience in a HSEQ Manager position, with a minimum of 5 years spent on a top-tier COMAH site.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage key stakeholders across the organization.
