Senior Site Manager Job Description

Our client, Edwards & Pearce - Doncaster, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of construction sites in the region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of coordinating site activities, managing site staff and contractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and direct site staff and contractors to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Plan and program site activities to meet project deadlines and budget requirements
  • Work closely with the Contracts/Project Manager to ensure effective cost control and project progress
  • Maintain high-quality and safety standards on site, working closely with the Health, Safety and Environmental Team
  • Provide regular updates and lead progress meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Previous site management experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations
