Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sample Collector and Phlebotomist to join our team on an AD HOC/casual basis. The ideal candidate will be a professionally qualified Phlebotomist with recent experience in various venepuncture techniques, particularly vacutainer and butterfly.

The successful applicant will attend pre-booked appointments at various locations in and around the Doncaster area, providing a professional hair, blood, and DNA sample collection service. They will maintain and develop excellent relationships with clients, donors, and the public as the face of Lextox.

Responsibilities
  • Collect samples from clients, donors, and the public in a safe, healthy, and low-risk environment.
  • Implement company Quality management System requirements and help maintain ISO17025 accreditation.
  • Provide statements of truth at point of collection.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and language skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Phlebotomy, post qualification (proof of Phlebotomy competency may be required).
  • Full UK Driving Licence and own access to a vehicle with business insurance.

  • Paid on a per-collection basis, plus appropriate travel expenses.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination is required for this role.
  • An enhanced DBS check will be an essential requirement.
