Communications Disorders Specialist for Lambeth SEN School

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Disorders Specialist to join our team at an Ofsted Outstanding graded specialist school in Lambeth.
This is a permanent position available to start as soon as possible, with flexibility for a January start if needed.

As a Communications Disorders Specialist, you will work closely with students who require support with speech and language development. Your role will involve creating and implementing individualised therapy plans to help students overcome their communication challenges.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special educational needs and a strong understanding of speech and language pathology principles.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments to identify students' communication strengths and weaknesses
- Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans
- Collaborating with teaching staff to integrate therapy goals into lesson plans
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
