Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Support Specialist to join our team at Red Bull Racing. As an Electronics Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our factory and rig systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for electrical and electronic systems, including fault diagnosis and resolution.
  • Ensure that systems are electrically set up and configured correctly, and that they are built and tested to meet the requirements of the event build specification.
  • Monitor and assess the health of electrical systems, and assist with the control and maintenance of spares and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that electrical and electronic systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement procedures for the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems.

Requirements

  • Experience working with electrical and electronic systems, including MATLAB Simulink and Stateflow.
  • Experience with all types of electrical and electronic installations, including MIL specification wiring installations and sensor technologies.
  • Hold a degree or equivalent in an electronics discipline, combined with relevant experience of motorsport electrical and electronic systems.
  • Demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work within tight timescales.
  • Ability to read and write simple code in VBA, XML, Python.
  • Familiarity with using an oscilloscope to measure and capture analogue and digital signals.
  • Familiarity with debugging CAN issues using tools such as Vector CANalyzer or similar.
