About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our Business Intelligence function at Accurx Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our business intelligence solutions, ensuring that our stakeholders have access to accurate and timely data insights.

Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI, as well as working closely with our Data Engineering function to collect, clean, and model the data needed by our community.

You will also be responsible for promoting data self-serving, helping stakeholders to develop their skills in using our BI tool, and presenting insights to the community based on your deep dive into data.

In addition, you will work closely with our BI Lead to achieve the best setup for data in Power BI, taking into consideration both short-term and long-term needs.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about visualizing data and solving business problems with numbers and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Power BI
  • Develop and implement data visualizations, reports, and dashboards
  • Work closely with Data Engineering function to collect, clean, and model data
  • Promote data self-serving and help stakeholders develop their skills in using our BI tool
  • Present insights to the community based on deep dive into data
  • Work closely with BI Lead to achieve best setup for data in Power BI

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a Business Intelligence function/team
  • End-to-end hands-on experience in building reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
  • Experience of database tools (SQL/PL-SQL/T-SQL)
  • Experience with Power BI and programming language behind it (DAX and Power Query)
  • Experience in visual storytelling and superb communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to decompose complex solutions and insights into a simple narrative
  • Exposure with programming or scripting languages (Python/R/Powershell)
  • Passion for visualizing data and solving business problems with numbers and insights
