Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager with automotive experience to join our team at Luxoft. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in automotive low-level software and software development, with a proven track record of delivering quality products and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Client Communication and Relationship Building:
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor in automotive software development, specifically focusing on ADAS technologies.
    • Utilize exceptional communication skills to negotiate and influence, ensuring alignment between client expectations and product development efforts.
  • Proactive Business Development/Upsell:
    • Integrate client feedback into product development processes more strategically, ensuring that the product evolves in ways that enhance client satisfaction and open up new business opportunities.
    • Facilitate focus groups, user forums, or one-on-one client interviews to gather in-depth insights that inform product strategy and development priorities.
  • Backlog Management and Prioritization:
    • Assist in managing the product backlog, ensuring it is appropriately prioritized in alignment with the product strategy and stakeholder needs.
    • Work closely with the Product Owner to refine and clarify backlog items, ensuring that the development team has a steady stream of clearly defined and understood work.
  • Technical Expertise and Guidance:
    • Provide technical guidance to the development team, helping overcome challenges and ensure the product meets the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements for the automotive industry.
    • Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in automotive software development, advising on best practices and potential innovations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Addressing Customer Requests:
    • Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback on product releases and iterations, ensuring user and customer feedback is incorporated into future development cycles.
    • Play a key role in defining user stories and acceptance criteria to meet customer expectations and solve real-world problems.
  • Project Coordination and Agile Practices:
    • Ensure that agile practices are followed and adapted as necessary to meet project and organizational needs.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of development cycles, timely delivery, and adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams:
    • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure the product messaging is coherent and compelling to target markets.
    • Provide technical expertise and market insights to support the creation of marketing materials, sales pitches, and promotional strategies.
    • Assist in preparing detailed product demonstrations and presentations for clients, showcasing the product's unique value proposition and technical capabilities.
