Senior Auditor

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic accountancy practice in Cardiff. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing a diverse portfolio of audits, ensuring compliance, and developing innovative audit strategies.

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of audits, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
• Ensure Audit Compliance, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Develop and implement innovative audit strategies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
• Identify and resolve complex queries, providing expert guidance and support to junior team members.
• Prepare and review high-quality audit reports, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Contribute to the firm's ongoing growth and development, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
• Train junior members of staff, mentoring and coaching to ensure their success.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Experience in auditing and team leadership, with a proven track record of success.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
