About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Practitioner to join our Adult Care Workforce Development Team as the Mental Capacity Act Lead.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating, designing, and delivering Mental Capacity Act and DoLS training for the Adult Social Care workforce. You will provide advanced practice expertise and guidance to ensure compliance with statutory duties and responsibilities.

You will work closely with individual practitioners, operational teams, training providers, and partner agencies to plan, deliver, and evaluate learning and development activities. Your role will also involve managing the quality assurance of MCA/DoLS related practice and training.

In addition, you will assist the Team Manager in identifying, developing, and commissioning learning and development opportunities for the operational adult care workforce.

As part of this role, you will work one day a week within the DoLS Service.
