About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team at NewDay Ltd. As a key member of our Information Security department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based solutions.

This is a permanent, full-time position located in London, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows for flexibility and work-life balance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-level security designs and policies for cloud-based projects.
  • Implement and design API Security, Container Security, Azure and AWS Cloud Security solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop security-related procedures and guidelines that support information security policies.
  • Work closely with the InfoSec team to embed security requirements into the Information Security Architecture.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in cloud security architecture, with experience in designing and implementing secure cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of distributed systems design, building for resilience and cloud security architectures.
  • Experience working with agile teams and collaborating with stakeholders to drive security initiatives forward.
  • A high-level understanding of security principles, control frameworks, threat modeling, and cloud security risks.
