Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking an experienced SLD Tutor to provide one-to-one support to students with complex needs in a community-based setting.

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an SLD Tutor. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering differentiated National Curriculum core subjects to students with a wide range of complex and challenging needs.

• Deliver one-to-one tuition to students with complex needs in a community-based setting
• Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of students
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless support for students
• Provide exceptional behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Background teaching in English, Maths, Science, or SEND classes ranging from KS1-KS5
• QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years' experience teaching NC core subjects
• Experience working with students with ASD, EBD, SEMH, and associated complex needs
• Two years' previous experience working within a UK school
