Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Heidelberg Materials AG. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with start-up and shut-down routines to maximize plant throughput.
  • Operate and maintain equipment to produce materials in accordance with site productivity targets and maintenance KPIs.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment within your scope of competencies.
  • Assist with the coordination of planned shutdowns to ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks, and any other 5s-related duties as required by management.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities to ensure compliance with management requirements.
  • Operate machines, tools, and equipment safely and in accordance with regulations and manufacturers' guidance.
  • Undertake duties at other Heidelberg Materials sites within reasonable travelling distance, where transport or travelling allowance may be provided.
  • Ensure workshops, equipment, and facilities are adequate and maintained.
  • Train and supervise Apprentice Maintenance personnel.
