At Standard Aero, we're committed to building a career that's as unique as you are. As a Calibration Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our aviation equipment is precision-calibrated, meeting the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and schedule calibrated tooling and equipment
  • Collect, process, and deliver tooling and equipment
  • Inspect Precision Termination Equipment
  • Analyze and interpret calibration certificates
  • Raise correct paperwork for failures/adjustments and follow through to completion
  • Keep accurate registers and portals/systems up to date
  • Complete documentation in accordance with Company procedures
  • Liaise with Calibration House enquiries
  • Liaise with tool stores, GSE Controller, and other relevant departments
  • Support GSE Controller and Tooling Controller when they're out of the office
  • Inspect GSE Equipment (limited)
  • Comply with Quality Management System
  • Ensure timely action to achieve desired output
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to meet task needs
  • Promote best practice, report bad practice, and take preventative action
  • Complete documentation in accordance with Company procedure
  • Comply with Health, Safety, and Environment regulations
  • Adhere to company policies and champion Diversity, Dignity, and Respect at work
  • Attend training courses when nominated
  • Perform general duties, housekeeping, and other responsibilities as allocated by the management team
Competencies:
  • Team Worker with excellent communication skills
  • Effective time-management skills
  • Self-starter requiring little supervision
  • Good analytical/problem-solving skills
Functional:
  • Working knowledge of Calibration Testing Equipment and Tooling
  • Understanding of Uncertainty of Measurement
  • Computer literate – MS Excel, MS Word
Organisational Relationships:
  • Actively promote and encourage co-operation within a team
  • Communicate with Internal and External Customers/Suppliers
Professional Qualifications/Education and Training:
  • Apprenticeship or BTEC/HNC in a mechanical discipline
Experience:
  • Experience in the use of measuring equipment in an Engineering Environment
  • Experience in planning/scheduling in a Maintenance Company
