About the Role

The Assistant Team Manager will assist the Team Manager in leading a team to provide high-quality care and support for individuals living in supported housing or registered care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective management and coordination of a person-led service, managing shift rotas, and promoting the organization's core values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Team Manager in leading a team to provide high-quality care and support
  • Manage shift rotas and ensure effective coordination of services
  • Promote the organization's core values and mission
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, including individuals, families, and community partners
  • Use own initiative to problem-solve and prioritize tasks
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health, autism, or profound and multiple disabilities
  • Good understanding of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in using software applications
  • Willingness to work alternate weekends and shifts
