IT Support Technician

We are seeking a proactive and eager-to-learn individual to join our Baltic Apprenticeships team as an IT Support Technician. This apprenticeship offers you the skills, qualification, and experience needed to immerse yourself in the fast-moving world of IT.

About the Role

You will gain hands-on experience in supporting our robust IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and communication for our diverse clients. You'll work closely with our skilled team, learning valuable skills in troubleshooting, network management, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Telephone Systems and maintenance
  • Assist with the installation, integration, testing, and maintenance of network and telecommunications infrastructure LAN, WAN, VPN, VoIP, Call Centre, and Telephone systems
  • Provide support for the configuration of network switches, routers, and firewalls to ensure business demands are met while maintaining a secure environment
  • Install, support, and service business customers
  • Handle telephone calls and emails from clients and create support incidents as needed
Requirements
  • Ability to demonstrate good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer-facing skills
  • Understanding of Microsoft office packages
  • Knowledge of operating systems in a business environment
  • Good organisational skills
  • Enthusiastic to learn and progress
Salary and Benefits

£18,000 per annum, Monday to Friday, 42 hours per week, 25 days of annual leave, annual pay reviews, yearly bonus, Deliveroo lunch every Friday, hands-on training, and mentorship, opportunity for career progression within the company.
