Sales and Commercial Development Specialist

About the Role
M-Tec Engineering Solutions is seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the sales development of products from acquisition through to serial production.
Main Responsibilities
- As a member of the Acquisition Team, you will prepare and update commercial offers.
- You will assist in the preparation of Business Plans and RFQs.
- Develop customer relationships across purchasing, engineering, and project functions.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels at regular intervals.
- Gain a thorough understanding of costing files.
- Propose and validate targeted pricing and negotiation paths.
- Prepare and negotiate commercial responses to customers' engineering change requests.
- Understand Program Business Plans and associated commercial levers.
- Develop a detailed understanding of piece price, tooling, and D&D impact.
- Follow Variable Cost Margin for products.
- Understand and manage local economics (inflation, exchange rate).
- Implement Sales Administration guidelines and processes (purchase orders, invoices, terms of payment).
About You
You should have a degree in business, engineering, purchasing, or procurement. Additionally, you should have 1-2 years of experience in a related field, including technical sales, engineering, purchasing, or procurement.
