About the Role

M-Tec Engineering Solutions is seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the sales development of products from acquisition through to serial production.

Main Responsibilities

  • As a member of the Acquisition Team, you will prepare and update commercial offers.
  • You will assist in the preparation of Business Plans and RFQs.
  • Develop customer relationships across purchasing, engineering, and project functions.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels at regular intervals.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of costing files.
  • Propose and validate targeted pricing and negotiation paths.
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial responses to customers' engineering change requests.
  • Understand Program Business Plans and associated commercial levers.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of piece price, tooling, and D&D impact.
  • Follow Variable Cost Margin for products.
  • Understand and manage local economics (inflation, exchange rate).
  • Implement Sales Administration guidelines and processes (purchase orders, invoices, terms of payment).

About You

You should have a degree in business, engineering, purchasing, or procurement. Additionally, you should have 1-2 years of experience in a related field, including technical sales, engineering, purchasing, or procurement.
