Job Summary

The Workshop Master Scheduler plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the workshop at Oceaneering. This position is responsible for managing and optimizing the workflow of maintenance and new build activities, ensuring a seamless and cost-effective process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze workshop forecasts to ensure accurate capacity planning and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to align schedules, anticipate and mitigate potential bottlenecks, and ensure peak efficiency.
  • Produce a schedule compliant with workshop and customer requirements, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Identify and highlight risk areas and opportunities for improvement, and develop solutions to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Participate in daily workshop meetings and HSEQ initiatives, and promote communication between stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of ROV systems and tooling maintenance regimes.
  • Strong critical thinking and logic skills, with a proven track record of success in a complex production and assembly LEAN environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of project planning, resource planning, risk management, and managing stakeholder conflict.
  • Excellent negotiating, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in Primavera P6 and Excel, and ability to analyze project performance using Earned Value.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of 6S and lean principles.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and PeopleSoft ERP System.
  • Ability to work with cross-cultural organizations and groups.
