Role Overview

Donard Recruitment is seeking a qualified Healthcare Specialist to join our team as a Clinical Assessor. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while ensuring a personalized, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for service users.

The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing a wide range of health conditions and disabilities, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments. They will also be able to manage caseloads from start to finish, including face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports.

As a Clinical Assessor, you will work with a leading employer to provide a high-quality service to service users. You will have access to training options, hybrid full-time and part-time working hours, and a competitive salary.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assessing service users with complex health needs and developing appropriate recommendations.
  • Managing caseloads efficiently, including scheduling assessments, completing paperwork, and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes for service users.


Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a relevant qualification, such as a degree in nursing or a related field. They will also hold valid registration on the NMC or HCPC without restrictions. A strong understanding of the Government's disability allowance (PIP) process and procedures is essential for this role.
