Freight Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Freight and Logistics Administrator to join our team at Tate. This key role will provide critical support in processing orders, coordinating logistics, and managing shipping in and out of goods.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with third-party courier partners, monitoring and tracking shipments, and addressing customer complaints regarding courier services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with courier partners to ensure efficient and reliable service.
- Monitor and track shipments, investigate issues, and address customer complaints regarding courier services promptly and effectively.
- Oversee the process of managing product returns, booking them in, and scheduling deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment.
- Prepare and submit claims for lost, damaged, or delayed shipments to ensure reimbursement and resolution.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the logistics or courier industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with couriers and customers.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage various responsibilities simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to handle complaints and investigate issues thoroughly.
- Proficiency in using tracking systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
