Maintenance Engineer Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Maintenance Engineer at a leading food manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, responding to breakdowns and emergency situations, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To direct engineering resource to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently.
  • To ensure that all Quality Management Systems are adhered to and properly documented.
  • To work closely with Production and Quality teams to improve operating practices.

Candidate Profile:

  • A recognised engineering apprenticeship qualification or equivalent is beneficial.
  • Strong general electrical and/or mechanical engineering skills and knowledge.
  • A logical thinker and problems solver with a positive and proactive mindset.
