Semi Senior Accountant Vacancy

This leading accountancy firm in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Semi Senior to join their successful team. They are looking for a go-getter who can get stuck in and become part of a happy and productive team providing a full suite of general accounting services for a varied portfolio of clients.

This role offers a range of benefits, including hybrid working (2 days from home per week) and a 2pm Friday finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of statutory and management accounts.
  • Personal and corporate tax computations.
  • Supporting the team in the provision of audit services.
  • Preparation of VAT returns.
  • Raising invoices.
  • Reconciling debits and credits.
  • Bookkeeping.
  • Scheduling supplier payments for client approval.
  • Knowledge of most accounting packages.
  • Work closely with the accounts team on ad hoc projects.
