About the Role

We are recruiting for a skilled Road Closure Specialist to join our team in Exeter. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing road closures and ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic.

What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a competitive salary of £13 per hour, with overtime rates applying at 150% after 40 hours Monday to Friday, nights, and Saturdays. You will also benefit from accrued holiday pay from day one, pension contributions (after a qualifying period), weekly pay, and no umbrella payments or fees.

Responsibilities

">

Your primary responsibilities will include setting up temporary traffic lights, manning road closures, and using a stop/go board. You will work as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and within the required timeframe.

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of a team, and have good timekeeping skills. A Lantra M1/2 qualification is essential, with an M5 qualification being desirable. A CSCS card is preferred, and a driving license is also advantageous.

Work Arrangements

">

You will work Monday to Friday, days or nights, with flexibility to undertake some shifts outside of normal working hours. This is a temporary role, but it has the potential to become permanent after 3 months.
