Key Responsibilities:
- Department Management: Oversee the smooth operation of the Engine Department, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation and optimal business performance.
- Stakeholder Relations: Foster strong relationships with OEMs, private distributors, and industry organizations to drive business growth and partnerships.
- Team Coordination: Lead and motivate a high-performing team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication across departments.
- Global Collaboration: Work closely with international teams to drive global business objectives and strategies.
- Staff Management: Manage staff-related issues, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Special Projects: Lead special projects as assigned by senior management, driving business innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a comparable position, with comprehensive experience across main department functions. At least 10 years of commercial experience in the engine or related product businesses.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of 2-stroke and 4-stroke technology and the General-Purpose Engine (GPE) market.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English. Proficiency in French, German, or Italian is preferred but not essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy.
- Travel: Willingness to travel internationally frequently.
- Personal Attributes: Self-motivated with a strong sense of cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
