About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teaching support professional to join our team in Llanelli. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and make a real difference in their lives.

As a SEN support assistant, you will provide one-to-one or group support to students with PMLD, helping them access the curriculum and engage in learning activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with PMLD, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs.
  • Assist the classroom teacher in creating a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment that promotes student well-being and engagement.
  • Support students with personal care, mobility, and communication needs, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
About You

We are looking for someone who is caring, patient, and adaptable, with a strong commitment to supporting students with significant learning difficulties.

A competitive salary of £25,000-£35,000 per year is offered, paid weekly, plus benefits including ongoing training and development opportunities, support from a dedicated consultant, and opportunities for career growth in the SEN sector.
