Loading Shovel Driver and Dumper Driver Job Description

Our client, a leading aggregates producer in the UK, is seeking a skilled loading shovel driver to support their operations at a main aggregate site. The successful candidate will assist with loading and transporting materials, ensuring efficient and safe site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate loading shovels and forward tipping dumpers to load and transport materials
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site procedures
  • Collaborate with site teams to achieve production targets and maintain site efficiency
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance

Requirements:

  • CPCS A21/22 Qualification or NPORS N290 Loading Shovel certification
  • NPORS N204 Forward Tipping Dumper certification
  • Own transport (desirable)
