Job Title: Young Adult Support Worker

Location: Baldock, Hertfordshire

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Baldock, Hertfordshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to young adults with learning disabilities in a Supported Living environment.

Responsibilities:

* Provide personal care and support to young adults with learning disabilities, including personal hygiene and dressing
* Assist with daily activities, such as shopping trips, leisure activities, and hobbies
* Support with therapies, including hydrotherapy and sensory rooms
* Assist with music and art activities in the skills centre
* Ensure good bedtime routines and sleeping patterns
* Ensure that medical needs are followed
* Create a safe environment for both young adults and colleagues
* Record information and administration

What We Offer:

* Competitive hourly rate of £12.78 per hour
* £1500 welcome bonus
* 4 weekly rota patterns
* Average 40 hours per week
* Full-time or part-time shifts/hours available, including weekend only hours
* Paid DBS check
* Funding to complete Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
* 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
