We are seeking a Power Systems Technician to join Morgan Ryder in Cheshire.

About the Role

The Shift Power Systems Technician will be responsible for maintaining and improving the electrical systems that power high-speed production lines in a state-of-the-art production facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reactive, preventive and corrective maintenance on cutting-edge packaging machinery and site services
  • Ensure smooth operation of equipment; Motors, Inverter Drives, PLC's, Control Systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues swiftly to minimise downtime
  • Optimise and enhance automation systems to boost reliability and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Salary and Benefits:
  • A guaranteed minimum salary of £51,705 + monthly production bonus - OTE £60K+
  • Shift; 4 days on , 4 off – 4 nights on, 4 off
  • Pension 7% Er, 5%Ee
  • 22 days holiday
  • Sick Pay
Requirements:
  • Time served Electrical Engineer, min HNC (or equivalent)
  • Min 3-5 years in industrial electrical systems, with knowledge of PLCs, SCADA and automated control systems
  • Knowledge of Siemens S7, TIA Portal, AS-I Profibus
  • Experience of boilers, CHP plant, heating/cooling systems
  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
