Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence Engineer

MBDA is seeking a talented Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our Image Processing UK department for a 10-week summer placement in 2025.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to apply your university learning to real-world engineering projects and technologies, working on cutting-edge research studies into innovative applications of Image Processing, Computer Vision, and Artificial Intelligence.
As a member of our team, you will have the chance to own and guide your own research project, collaborating with expert engineers and other graduates from diverse fields. You will gain an in-depth knowledge of the weapon's design and functionality, developing algorithms as part of a wider product programme.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing Image Processing, Computer Vision, and Artificial Intelligence techniques to conduct research studies into cutting-edge technological innovations.
- Developing algorithms as part of a wider product programme, working in collaboration with expert engineers and other graduates.
You will have the opportunity to develop skills with various tools and platforms, including Matlab, Simulink, Python, Deep Learning libraries, and C/C++.
As part of our Early Careers Programme, you will receive ongoing support in the development of your professional career, as well as opportunities for involvement in charity and STEM outreach schemes.
