Job Role:

We are seeking a responsible and dependable Driver to join our team at Sacro's Edinburgh Travel Service.

Your primary responsibility will be to transport registered passengers to and from their arranged visits, adhering to strict confidentiality and respect guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values community service and wants to contribute to a positive cause.

Salary Estimate: £12-15 per hour (dependent on location and experience)

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A full, clean UK driving licence and insurance
  • Access to a vehicle with a current MOT and regular servicing
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG)

About this role:

You will be working closely with families and friends of prisoners, facilitating their visits by providing safe and reliable transportation. As a driver, you will play a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation process and promoting positive relationships within the community.

What we're looking for:

  • A friendly, non-judgmental, and punctual attitude
  • The ability to commit to volunteering for at least a year
