Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Afternoon Shift Supervisor to join our team at our residential home in Wolverhampton. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our young people who have experienced early childhood trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of care staff to ensure the delivery of excellent care and support to our young people.
- Develop and implement individual care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person.
- Work closely with our management team to ensure the smooth running of the home and the delivery of high-quality care.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure that all care staff are trained and equipped to provide the best possible care and support to our young people.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a residential care setting, preferably with young people who have experienced trauma.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, staff, and external agencies.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our young people.
