Production Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team at Nicholas Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the production team, providing leadership and guidance to Team Leaders, and coordinating work force availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the production team, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Team Leaders in individual production areas, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Coordinate work force availability, including holidays, absenteeism, and disciplinary issues, to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Set production objectives in line with the Operations Management, ensuring alignment with company goals and targets.
• Update Operations Manager on production activities and issues, providing regular progress reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Communicate KPI information to the production team, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
• Guarantee adherence to production processes, specifications, and quality management systems, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Generate NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) where required, identifying and addressing production issues promptly.
• Ensure maintenance and calibration controls of all equipment are carried out in line with company policies, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal equipment performance.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager who can lead our production team to success. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of managing a machine shop environment, previous experience of production leadership, and the ability to implement and develop LEAN procedures.
