Parcel Courier Professional

At Meriden Media, we are seeking a dedicated Parcel Courier to join our team in Congleton, Cheshire. This is a temporary contract position with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, offering a competitive hourly rate of £13.37.

A Parcel Courier is responsible for delivering post and parcels across the region. The role requires flexibility with start times and finish times, as well as the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. The successful candidate will be expected to manage their time effectively, ensuring efficient delivery routes and meeting customer satisfaction targets.

The working day begins with an hour-long period in the local delivery office, where the Parcel Courier will sort parcels and prepare for the day's deliveries. A hand-held computer device will be provided to capture customer signatures and navigate the most economical delivery routes. Each round is approximately 6 hours long, and the Parcel Courier will be required to work Monday to Saturday, including Saturdays.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A full UK driving license with no more than 6 points
