Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our team in histology, assisting senior staff in providing a comprehensive service in cellular pathology. This role involves production of high-quality histological stained sections of surgical and post-mortem tissues for diagnosis.

The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory processes, maintenance, and monitoring, as well as registration with the Health Professions Council as a biomedical scientist, a Biomedical Science Degree or equivalent, and participation in CPD.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Production of histological stained sections of surgical and post-mortem tissues
  2. Laboratory rota covering all areas of laboratory processes, maintenance, and monitoring
  3. Maintenance of quality assurance processes
