Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Wavin UK, an Orbia business, in Chippenham, United Kingdom. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering assigned projects, ensuring that all project elements are being delivered safely to the agreed time, cost, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects within the Chippenham facility to agreed Orbia H&S standards, budgets, and timeframes.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and project management of vendors/contractors.
  • Manage a team of project engineers and internal/external stakeholders, vendors, and contractors where applicable.
Requirements:
  • Engineering graduate (B. Tech or BE) is essential. A Project Management degree and experience within Lean Manufacturing is desirable.
  • The incumbent needs to be fluent in English language.
  • Previous experience with an Engineering/Manufacturing background.
  • Previous experience of delivering all levels of projects to completion on time, in budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • Expertise to identify, reduce, and manage all risks (technical, statutory H&S, commercial, and otherwise) associated with each project.
  • Experience of developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to achieve goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong operational awareness.
