Your new company is a large public sector organisation based in Essex, offering hybrid working arrangements. As an Internal Audit Manager, you will play a key role in reviewing and updating reports before final sign-off by the Head of Internal Audit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team to review and update reports
- Work with the Head of Internal Audit to produce needs assessments, risk assessments, and quarterly performance reports
- Monitor and follow-up on recommendations with departments to ensure correct processes are adopted
- Manage and coordinate a variety of tasks to a high standard
- Advise and guide stakeholders on audit-related matters
Requirements:
- Experience and qualifications in Internal Audit, ideally holding a relevant certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, CIA, AAT, or CIMA
- Several years' experience working within Internal Audit in a public sector setting
- A full current driving licence
