Job Title: Market Research Analyst

About the Role:

Mintel is seeking a highly skilled Market Research Analyst to join our team in Canada. As a Market Research Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting economic market research, identifying market trends, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research by leveraging secondary resources to determine market sizes and brand landscapes in Canada.
  • Cultivate relationships with industry experts to facilitate trade interviews and capture market trends.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of Canada's retail distribution channels and analyze data to generate market insights and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share industry knowledge and promote operational expertise within the business.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of residency in Canada with an understanding of its business culture.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret data from different sources and build compelling stories.
  • Proficient in written English analysis and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop a professional network in Canada.
