Job Title: Senior Economist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Economist to join our Research and Analysis team within the Shadow Regulator. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing economic research and analysis projects, including a detailed market study.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing the scope of the analysis and identifying key questions to answer
  • Developing frameworks of analysis and identifying information requirements and data collection
  • Undertaking analysis and drawing robust, well-evidenced conclusions
  • Communicating findings to a range of audiences and engaging with industry stakeholders, academics, and other experts
Requirements:
  • Background in economics with a university degree in Economics (2:1 or above) or a postgraduate degree in Economics
  • Relevant experience in economic analysis and research
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and findings to a range of audiences
  • Motivated team player with the ability to establish constructive and collaborative relationships with a range of people
